The following timeline presents an ideal succession of editorial events. It has two external deadlines
and several internal deadlines. The external deadlines (shown in bold face) are true deadlines — if the requested
documents are not submitted in time, your book project will not reach the subsequent stage. The internal deadlines are more flexible, though still
vital. If you meet them, you will reduce stress and consequently increase the quality of your Guide.
Before registering to the Flying Publisher Guide Program, you need to build a team of at least 3 and no more than 6 authors, organize
a meeting of the authors, distribute the chapters and fix an internal deadline of 3 months for the submission of the chapters.
After registration, you have between 6 to 7 months to complete your guide. If you register today, the final deadline will be on 1 September 2012. If you need more time, register later.
